Log: Week 1

Sat, 2nd Feb: Arrival in Auckland. One wheel of my case broke, I hope this won't be a problem on my trip to the South Island...


Sun, 3rd Feb: Walk to the City via Mount Eden


Mon, 4th Feb:  First day at the language school. Unfortunately (for me) a rainy day - the first one in Auckland for weeks


Tue, 5th Feb: Trip to the City and to Devonport with some of the people from school 


Wed, 6th Feb:  Waitangi Day, NZ's national holiday, went with some people to One Tree Hill and enjoyed the beautiful view


Thu, 7th Feb:  Unfortunately the Museum of Transport and Technology (MOTAT) was already closed when we arrived


Fri, 8th Feb: During the happy hour at the "Playhouse" half of the school meets for a beer


Sa/So, 9-10th Feb: 2-day car trip in a group auf four to the beautiful Coromandel Peninsula
